This patients results are good, but highlights the limitations of surgery.  She has a round full face and surgery can only re-drape the overlying skin and SMAS (underlying muscle and tissue)

This patient is 35 years old and had a mini-face lift.  Notice the improved neck angle and jawline.
The after picture is 1 week after surgery.  Notice slight bruising and minimal swelling.


              

              

These pictures are 2 weeks after surgery and demonstrate the incision for a face lift.  The incision extends into the scalp and around behind the ear, however this is the only portion of the incision that is visible.

  The after picture is 6 Months from the procedure.  This patient also had her upper eyelids completed at the same time.

This patient has the ideal underlying bone structure and the goal was to reposition the soft tissue
highlighting the jaw angle and recreating the youthful neckline.  The next step is Skin Care.

Unlike the patient above, this patient has an overall roundness to her face and lacks the desirable strong bone features. 
The goal was to reposition the deep layers and reduce the jowling, diminish the hollowing under her eyes while improving the aged neck. 
It is impossible to provide her with the bone structure of the patient above.

This patient has a strong jaw line and the goal of surgery was to correct the jowling and reestablish the youthful jaw line and neck.

This patient lacks the strong bone features but addressing the deep tissues reestablished a youthful neck jaw line and exceeded my expectations.
Notice the movement of the moles toward the ear and the amount of tissue removed to accomplish her face lift.
Her neck line angle is a great success for her facial type.

This patient had a previous face lift was wanted a "touch-up". 
A mini-left or limited dissection face lift was performed to reestablish her jaw line feature and soften her nasio-labial fold.
