Background Information
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires 4-7 additional years of hospital based formal post-graduate training in general surgery, anesthesia, medicine, emergency room, ENT, plastic and pediatric surgery. As an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Johnson manages a wide variety of problems relating to the bone and soft tissue of the face and associated structures. Dr. Johnson practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from cosmetic facial surgery, corrective jaw surgery and pathology. He can also diagnose and treat craniofacial disorders, cleft lip and palate, facial injuries as well as acne and scar revisions.
Dr. Johnson’s staff is trained in assisting with I.V. sedation and general anesthesia within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. In addition, general anesthesia can be provided by a board certified anesthesiologist within the office or a surgical center, conveniently located near our office.
Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at Advanced Faces are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of I.V. sedation and surgery. We also have a trained registered nurse (RN) to assist in surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies and are CPR certified, the RN and Dr. Johnson are ACLS certified as well.
